My work acts as a personal historical record, inspired by the personal websites of the early internet and informational materials that live online in the digital realm. These hyperspecific compositions feel like a natural medium for highlighting often forgotten anomalies of nature. I like to depict events from the past as well as anticipated events in the future because of the way that they connect people across time and space, examining my perceived (and sometimes imagined) relationship between my personal experience and the experiences of others which I long to understand.
